Are you aged 13-18?

If the rape or sexual assault happened in the past or more recently, we are here to help you decide what action you wish to take.

From 16 you can legally consent, or agree to sexual activity. However, no one should ever make you do things that make you feel embarrassed or uncomfortable. You always have the right to say ‘no’, even to someone you love. You are in control of your body and the most important thing is how you feel.

If you have not consented to sexual activity or were unable to make a decision because of drinking too much alcohol or taking drugs, you should speak to us so that we can help you.

If you are over 13, you can decide whether or not you want to report it to the police. Whatever you decide, we will be there to help you and will fully support your decision. We will need to inform the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). This is a group of police, local authorities and partner agencies who work together to ensure children and young people are safeguarded. We will always discuss this with you and your thoughts, wishes or concerns will be taken seriously.

So that we can start helping you, you can speak to us on 01603 276381 or email us at [email protected]
